Question -My car is a 95 oldsmobile achieva, it has roughly 200,000 miles, petrol, don't know cub age. I bought my car 4 months ago from a friend of a friend. I had 2 mechanics look at it and was told everything looked in order. Now it sometimes won't start. It's been doing it for about a week. When I turn it over it makes a clicking sound and everything goes black. It's not the same sound as a dead or dying battery. It doesn't sound like the car is even trying to start. The clicks are clean and quick. I've had many different guesses made and I'm at my wits end.

Question - I'm not sure if you will be able to help, but here goes.

Question - Hi, I have Holden Vectra JSII CD 2001, 2.6 L, V6, Sedan. The problem is with power window of rare side. Left rear doesn't work at all. Right rear is working partially but only from driver switch, not from the rear right door switch.

Question - Why does the "chunking" continue to happen despite numerous flushes, replacement of heating core, and new coolant..  Most recently the bottom block was replaced as well as a bunch of other things.  This was done by a Hyundai dealer so I would assume they are using the right coolant? Thanks you again.

Question - Hello, I have a Peugoet 306 W reg and the front wipers only hace stopped working - any advise on how i can fix it?

My 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee was coughing and sputtering and running very rough but the check engine light was not on. My shop took a look at it (not sure they did a true diagnostic as it was in the shop for a new muffler and tail pipe at the time… a job I will not do myself) and said I needed a new fuel pump. I purchased and installed a fuel pump to the tune of $180 and a lot of labor to pull and reinstall the gas tank. The result was the Jeep still stalls, coughs and backfires.

Questin - My car often cuts out during braking and if it doesn't it almost always affects the engine and power, for example the interior fan will lose speed and power and anything lit will dim. What are the possibilities and could I check/repair this myself? How do I narrow down the fault?

Question - My '97 Grand Cherokee will idle pretty well, sometimes it will die while im parked after i just start it up, but soon as i go down the street it'll sputter and die. sometimes it will just slow down and die and will either start up and run fine the rest of the way until i turn it off and start it up later in the day, or will take a few minutes before it cranks up. i have replaced several hundereds of dollars of parts and still no improvement.

Hello. Lately my '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo has been stalling on us. You can start it up first thing in the morning and it will run fine, but if you shut it off for a while and go to crank it again it idles then dies almost like it is out of gas even though its not. Also, it will stall while driving or stopping at a light. My husband thinks it could be many things like a sensor or the fuel pump. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Own and have loved my 98, Jeep Grand Cherokee.  It was my primary car, but now is my 2nd and all-purpose vehicle (towing, beach, etc). It is getting very close to 100,000 miles.   It is V8 with 4 wheel drive. It has started burning a quart of oil a month (with limited, 2nd car driving). I am contemplating putting new brakes on it, have front end work done (it has loose play in steering wheel), having one dent in a near perfect body taken out.   Perhaps up to $2,000 or a little more.  My idea is to keep it for many years as a LIMITED DRIVING, 2nd car for utilitarian uses only.
